I used to skate here as a kid during its second resurgence whenever my Mom would drive to Milwaukee and drop me off for the day here...still love to see old footage of it. This was a great part from Streets on Fire...
that was awesome. how appropriate that jj was behind bars in this vid. Despite the fact I grew up less than 15 minutes from the turf I never skated it. When I started skating it was closed, then when I moved away it reopened. Just stories about how gnarley it was for me!
